Buzz about Network Inventory Advisor

Buzz about Network Inventory Advisor

On July 8th we ran a 1-day giveaway of the 25-node license of Network Inventory Advisor. We were very impressed by all the feedback that we received in return and we wanted to thank everyone who commented. It is your opinions and your requests that make our software what it actually is! Wandering through 120+ comments, I just picked the following random ones, which I wanted to share with our blog readers.

“I was about to hire a summer intern for $10/hr to do a complete network inventory when I downloaded and ran this program! Worked great on my Windows domain. Found all computers and did a complete HW/SW scan. And the reports are great too!” - by Xojins

“must have software in every office…” - by corv

“Great program. Installed and registered easily and has already proved itself a real winner. It highlighted that one of my Home Network (6 computers)did not have an operating Anti Virus program running.” - by Glenn

“Very cool! My home computers were scanned perfectly!” - by jose

“In this day and age many people like me have several computers, laptops, scanners, printers, etc at home, so this is a good way to keep inventory of all devices connected. You can detect when a device can’t connect (going bad?) and model names saved in a document or screenshot, for tech support.” - by cyber-naut

“Program has a quick start wizard when you first open the program. You customize the scan, enter in an administrator’s username/password, then let it go. It actually worked quite well on our business network here. The program correctly found all computers on our network except for one. Not sure why, but no biggie. There is a button to rescan a single computer, if you like. The amount of detail is quite amazing. The processor, motherboard model, memory size, etc. etc.?? Even the Windows product key! That’s pretty incredible and handy. Overall, looks like an incredible troubleshooting/network admin tool.” - by JDub

“Installed no problem on Vista Home Premium 32 bit machine registered OK and then I ran it. All I can say is WOW this is fantastic. Even if you do not have a network (I do) it would be worth it for what it tells you about your machine, environment etc. Thank you to ClearApps.com for this software and thank you GOTD for giving us the chance. Definite Thumbs Up!!!!” - by Brian

“I was completely unfamiliar with GAOTD or Clearaps before today, I came accross this offer when doing some web searches for other research. As a network and computer consultant, I actually have a need to do small network inventories quite often, and while we use more robust and expensive tools for this purpose, I decided to try this product out, because it would work great for SOHO business owners that want to self manage their networks. After installing it on Win7 x64 and running it against a small 7 node network I was impressed. It picked up and identified a firewall, printer and all computers on the network. So my suggestion to anyone either curious or wanting more insight into their network: Check this product out. Just based on the scan functions alone and not diving into the asset management and tracking features this product could easily be worth much more than they sell it for. Thank you.” - by D. Gabriel

Thanks again, guys.
